Thanks for letting me vent
Thanks for letting me vent. I feel much better now. Thank you all for the advice... and I agree that saying nothing is the most prudent.
What is the most amazing thing to me is my daughter. I've learned the most from her today. She was obviously bothered about it last night, but today it's as if nothing happened. I wish I could be so unaffected. She's the one who convinced me that it's just not that big of a deal. So I'm much better.

So sorry she had to go through no friends coming. That's no fun at all.
I wish I could have her attitude over many things. Glad you're both better.
