Court Day #1

We just returned from our first appearance at court here in Stavropol. Everything went well. The judge interviewed both Kevin and I for about 30 to 40 minutes, then she interviewed our attorney and M's social worker. All the testimony went smoothly and nothing unexpected came up.

We were told that the 10-day wait is not being waived unless the child has a medical emergency. So we're going to roll with that. We have another meeting with our coordinator in a few minutes and then we are on our own for the rest of the day.

well, sounds like things are moving along. drag about the 10 days not being waived, but each one is a step closer.

looking forward to the next part of John Adams. and yeah, maybe the real one wasn't quite so up in arms.

the actor's father was Bart Giamatti, one time baseball commissioner... interesting!

so happy that court went well for ya. I think that court thing is the way of the future. I never hear of anyone getting court waived. But it is more time to get to know your littleone
